About the work
In her works, Charline von Heyl creates energetically charged visual worlds of form and color that capture and hold the viewer through their various layers layered over and next to each other. Seemingly arrested in the abstract, but then drawn back into the world of the representational through hints and schemes, but also whole objects, the reading changes with each viewing.
